NO STRINGS ATTACHED

 Bubbles of sweat tickled down my shoulders as I stood wondering what it was like to demystify a giant.

In life, we have graces, privileges and at most, rights. But in all, we also have examples and Geebra (though, a brand) is one of them. the young has grown to become the best on the ladder of success. Today, we are going to examine the qualities that have set him apart and have crowned him a distinguished personality.

COMMITMENT.

One of the days I met with Geebra Stanley, it was inside one of his mansions. So, I know what it is like getting a natural glance at this personality without any iota of doubt concerning what he is like even in the darkest of all places one could have ever imagined.

Geebra was not in a hurry to leave even though it was obvious that he had an appointment to catch up with that day. So, he had time to recognize my presence, not as though I was the choicest of all friends as at then. Rather, was the least expected. Suffice it to say, I was the unknown guest. I was unexpected at that particular hour yet I came and he ushered me in. This shows that Geebra Stanley was (and still is) a man of character who is committed to seeing the youths soaring high. It is not as though I expected much from him but it is not everybody that you would barge into their presence like that and they would take things lying low. I mean, what if Geebra was beating his wife when I came in? That would have been a dent on his image but I found him guiltless. 

Ladies and gentlemen, everybody cannot be Geebra Stanley but we have to soar high. Apostle once said, “I have planted, Apollos has watered, it is left for God to give the increase.” Forasmuch as we have to keep aspiring higher in our various fields of endeavor which includes but is not limited to academics, career, child rearing (parenting), business, spiritual and otherwise, let us be reminded that a sure foundation has been laid for us even in Christ. Hence, the need to continue building on it by knowing how to commit ourselves to good things that are worth out time. 

Now, I am not here to tell you about Geebra Stanley only neither am I going to discuss myself but I bring to your knowledge the fact that you could become the president of any organization, but without commitment, you cannot make it.

Ever wondered what it is like attending to a suitor when you least expect him and still be able to get the situation under control without having to screw up before your very presence? Now, that is where we have to take the right steps. Treat everybody as a brother until they start to prove otherwise. Then you must have to undo the relationship to know what is good enough for you.
