ATTITUDE.

 This is what determines your altitude. You can live as though you do not exist. You can live as though nothing matters to you anymore but in all, your level of determination determines where you get.

I have seen men who fell when they were just a step away from the destination. I have also seen those who wept when they were meant to be rejoicing due to lack of understanding.

Life is a matter of choice. You cannot carry pregnancy if you have never dreamed of being a nursing mother. So, you may never know what the other fellow goes through until you step into his or her shoes which may not even be suitable for you by the way. 

Never think you would do better if you were in someone else’s shoes. The reason is because you are still here. So, life is spent in stages.

Do not use the time you are meant to utilize planning to quarrel because you may never get it back. All of us wanted to graduate from the university but we didn’t know that there was no place for us at the national youth service corps secretariat. Hence, the need to wait. Never think you are too late for a journey you never planned because you may get there not knowing what you want. Hence, the need to do anything just to make both ends meet. Life is not all about committing crimes and saying, “After all, nobody sees me.” Your conscience is there to speak up when the time arrives. That is why some people would go into the Law Court, deny their Christian identity, moral background and prefer to swear with the Quran just to tell more lies even though they are still proud of their names which stem from Christianity. 

Let us face the real thing. Nobody is saying you should not commit crimes but be ready to pay the full price when caught because you can’t escape all the time. There is always a time of reckoning. 

That your parents did not give you the best of lives should not warrant your hatred for them. Come on, you are young and vibrant, and you can still do something. Forget the myriad of excuses that can easily fade away once you take a stand.

The reason why you are not standing yet is because you are still comfortable lying on the floor. May God give you the kind of discomforts that would see you to the top. In fact, may He preserve and adorn you with wisdom and skills needed to do exploits in the upper heights because you are not meant for the floor.

You can’t be poor forever. You can’t feel sad forever and you cannot take side all the time. Choose to do good and good things would locate you no matter how long it takes.
