After 9 months, the strange statements, ‘’Everyday is for the thief but one day is for the owner,‘’ and, ‘’Ignorance is not an excuse.‘’ came up and the matter was revisited.

Imiano was in his room sleeping when they jumped in through the window and the alarm went off. It was an automatic alarm so they couldn't help it.

These were the shouts that were heard in the neighbourhood and the youths started coming out！The imiano had been depressed over the last three weeks because of what was happening in the community. A certain political leader had connived with some of the corrupt kindred chiefs in the village to sell a landed property that belongs to Umukuru kindred and the matter was generating concern. To crown it all, imiano was under tension to marry Chioma or leave the community. Chioma was a blind orphan in the community but imiano was bethroated to at a young age and that was before she got blinded through an accident. Now, imiano's mind is wavering.

Their motive was to come and take him unawares but it didn't work as he was already prepared. They loved him - the youths because he was innocent. In fact, he was a virgin, which thing is rare in the village. To be a village virgin is not easy. So, he protected it with all intensity. Last Thursday, imiano was in a meeting where they were planning to jail a widow for stealing 9 tubers of yam from her neighbour's farmland but he objected to it saying that the major source of the theft was to be treated. Though, he objected to her being punished, he condemned the act noting that if the said land was not sold, she would have had a place to cultivate and feed her children. Mazi Ogbonna's son was a great Wrestler in the village and he supported imiano. The matter died like that but the chief was not happy because he perceived that imiano had made mockery of hos judgement and sent boys after him.

9 months ago, imiano was in a dilemma！He was picked by the council of elders to represent Evoma community in a running competition which was organised by the Central government and so many communities were bound to be present. It was Ukatu, the eldest son of mazi Ogbonna that brought back the young cow he won by carrying it on his back！This is a community of heros. So, they might have forgotten who he was. Once the alarm went off, he was quick enough to wake up and went for the ceiling through a hole that only him knew about. So, by the time they came to the main room, it was empty and the youths met them there.

To make the matters worse, the leade of the gang started laughing and told them that the had come to congratulate the imiano based on the victory and prestige he had brought to the community some months ago but they didn't believe him. In order to avoid causing havoc, the youth leader accompanied them out of the compound and the matter was closed but the imiano didn't take it rightly.

After that incident, he went for fortifications and he was trained spiritually on how to recite Bible verses to counter attacks. Suffice it to say, he learnt a lot and his life never remained the same！When he came back, Chioma was nowhere to be found because they had kidnapped her. Imiano paid the ransome but she was never released. So, imiano reported to the village chief but the enemy was within. So, he knew what to do.

As fate would have it, Chioma had a medal on her neck which nobody knew was connected to a mainstream App. So, Imiano used it to trace her but by then, she had been taken to another state.

When the kidnappers were arrested, they confessed that they were sent by the same politician who sold the community land and he was seriously dealt with. Though, imiano did not want to marry Chioma any more, he had decided to protect and shield her from danger. That year, the Certificate of tracking proficiency was awarded to imiano and Ukatu gave him a handshake.

Later on, the stolen parcel of land was restored and two wealthy sons of the soil volunteered to build a public place for the whole community. It was a welcome development as work started in earnest and youths were employed. When the building was commissioned, the community leader apologized to imiano and promised to lead well. Today, Imiano's library is located there and that is where the seven books of Davis can be located or even online.

It is good to note that in addition to this, a worship centre was instituted there, a minimart and also a viewing centre for the youths. Today, Imiano's library stands gidigbam in Africa.
