IMIANO TOLD ME

People wey get this kind head dey get brain. That was the impression I had when I saw Ezeguy and I followed him not knowing that the dude has a lot of troubles in store for me!

They say that first impression matters but with what I saw in Ezeguy's hand, I can only say that my case is different. In fact, this is matters arising!

CHAPTER ONE

I had innocently gone to buy akara that money when I saw him. To be candid, what I had on me was N150 and I had planned to buy akara that is worth N100 and sugar of N50 so that I could respect myself with the raw pap at home!Chidimma will bear me witness, I never knew that a day would come when I will go out and not come back.

Ezeguy picked me up from the street at a very young age and I am still grateful to him but I heard whim in his hand because my life is full of episodes.

First, I left school with the impression that I can always come back to complete it then Nigeria happened to me and I couldn't. Consequent upon this, I joined my mother and siblings in the village for farming.

At the village stream, I was known as a strong boy but within me, I was afraid. One day, a lion chased us away and I left my basket of snails behind!Though, it was a young lion, I couldn't risk it and that day, the villagers knew me for who I was - just the imiano.

It was a turbulent time in Okwoma village, everybody was running helter-skelter. So, the Igwe declared a manhunt for the insubordinate lion and my father was part of the vigilantee team!Whether or not the lion killed him or it was another person that shot him, we do not know but he went that way still.

So, when Ezeguy told me to tell him a little about myself, I was not able to.
